TLG is a proud Training Partner supporting the WTIA and its Apprenti program. Apprenti is for women, veterans, people of color, and anyone looking for a path and a plan towards a career in tech. If you are 18 years and older with a high school diploma (or equivalent) you can apply for the Apprenti program. You must also be a United States citizen, permanent legal resident, or eligible to work in the United States (I-9 eligible). Characteristics of successful candidates may include: persistent and able to learn new concepts quickly; collaborative and able to get along well with a variety of personalities and backgrounds; responsible and determined to complete the program and get the job done.
Under the Aprenti program, qualifying students are placed in a one year paid on-the-job-training apprenticeship with a sponsoring company like Accenture, Avvo, Comtech, F5, Microsoft, Silicon Mechanics, and Amazon. Apprenti is a program of the Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA) Workforce Institute.
Through our innovative selection, certification and hiring process, we are bridging the talent gap and meeting the demands of the tech industry’s growing workforce.
We have had excellent success placing transitioning service members into the Apprenti program.
